Did you think that was cute?

I don’t normally vent my frustrations like this to the world, but i have one that is almost comical.  I am currently living in the lake effect area, meaning it is very cold here to help you understand I wake up if it’s thirty I think “oh how nice, it’s warm today.” we had many winter days and nights when it was zero or below. It’s been a hard winter.

My frustration is that this week it started to get “real warm” fifty-two today. Now if it was summer we’d say this was cold and break out a hoodie. I am on a college campas and i sometimes wonder how’d these people get here?! I woke up today and i shed my sweater and winter jacket, traded them in for a tee-shirt and a fall jacket. BUT 50% of campus… has shorts and flip-flops on? children it is STILL winter. this is not cute! if you’re that girl who puts her shorts on and then thinks “hmmm my legs are cold…let me put…my high uggs on..”  Girls I have a different idea put PANTS ON this is not a cute look even Brittany spears got the no no on this one. why do you think it’ll look better or be okay for you? It wont.

Now for the boys, you toss on shorts when it’s forty, this does not make you macho or manly. This makes girls think ” he’s nuts” Now maybe if we didn’t have 4 inches of snow on the ground these looks would be a little better but right now, i think not… especially the one boy who lives on my floor yes i’m going to call you out, ALL winter this kid has warn shorts…. but on his  head he wore a fur hat you know guys the one with the ear flaps. This is weird and confusing, do you think it winter? or spring?

I know not everyone cares about fashion, but this isn’t about that really. It’s about covering up the bods when it’s cold, i’m a summer time gal to i love my skirts and flip flops being able to see my cute toes and legs but until it is spring or 70 they will be hiding under my jeans and in my flats. I can’t wait for summer either everyone, but putting on my shorts won’t bring it sooner…sorry to break it to you! thats all she wrote
